A hybrid artifact that bridges the gap between digital and physical collections at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.  Visitors primarily experience the Garden physically, walking along its outdoor paths.  Researchers often experience the Garden digitally, browsing its living and preserved plants in online databases.  A hybrid botanical artifact integrates these two experiences.

Created with Python, Adobe XD, crepe paper, wire, glue, GBIF data, and collection items from the Royal Botanic Garden's Herbarium, Library and Archive, and Living Collection
